Gathering

Congregation sit in a large circle. Words are projected above over a central cross.

We come from scattered lives to meet our God
Let us recognise his presence with us.

As God’s people we have gathered
Let us worship him together

We come to meet Jesus Christ, here in this particular place, as thousands have done before us.  We rejoice to be part of Christ’s church, part of Christ Church, and to celebrate all he has done in and through this church down the years.

As the church of Christ we have gathered
Let us worship him together

We come to worship Christ our King, to explore his love for us through music, word and image, and to welcome him once again in bread and wine.

As the body of Christ we have gathered
Let us worship him together
