Weddings

‘Marriage is a gift of God in creation through which husband and wife may know the grace of God’

We are always delighted to meet with couples who are planning to get married, whether here or elsewhere.

Those living or worshipping regularly in the parish, and those who have some other ‘qualifying connection’ with the parish, can be married in the church, which provides a beautiful light and creative space for the wedding ceremony. We also offer each year in the Spring a marriage preparation course for those living in the area, whether or not you are having the wedding here or elsewhere – we use the Marriage Foundation material which we believe provides a really great preparation for married life together and space to talk about life beyond the wedding itself!
